Four Seasons Resort Bodrum is our third project with Astay Group, they also own the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus and the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet. Bodrum is one of the most glamorous destinations in the Mediterranean region and also steeped in history with sites dating back thousands of years.
This is a new-build project that will include 125 rooms/suites, all with amazing views of the Aegean Sea. Construction is well underway and based on current planning the resort is expected to launch in 2027.
The Role of General Manager:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join our highly anticipated Four Seasons Resort Bodrum opening team in Turkey!
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will take the lead in project managing the opening of this incredible property. You will also be an active team player in strengthening our Four Seasons Turkey collection; creative in identifying opportunities to maximise development and shared synergy opportunities within the collection.
Our General Manager will guide the operational team in delivering consistently exceptional service, ensuring our guests feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Accountability includes overseeing the overall guest experience and playing an active role within the local community.
This position provides strategic leadership for all hotel personnel, fostering a culture rooted in character, integrity, and quality. It shapes and executes plans that drive sustained growth and profitability, while maintaining full responsibility for the health, safety, and wellbeing of both guests and employees.
Our Ideal General Manager candidate:
A seasoned luxury hospitality leader, with a strong preference for pre-opening and project leadership background and the ability to manage a highly seasonal operation. You should have deep knowledge of business development, revenue, and yield management, and strong Food and Beverage positioning expertise. Prior experience in Turkey or a strong understanding of the Turkish hospitality market would be considered a valuable asset.
An entrepreneurial spirit and guest ambassador with a solutions-focused mindset and innovative approach to position the hotel – especially through F&B – as the city's future market leader.
Ability to lead pre-opening and post-opening budgets, you will be a strong project manager and visionary who can think big picture yet able to execute on ideas and have a nimble mindset particularly in the opening year to establish operating procedures.
You will be a highly collaborative relationship builder, able to engage effectively with key stakeholders including Ownership, community leaders, travel partners, clients, and local agencies. You will have the ability to partner closely with Ownership on strategic initiatives, drive business relationships that support long-term growth, and articulate a clear and inspiring vision for the future of the hotel.
