Job Description
Job Summary
This role is responsibilities for implementation, deployment, monitoring, support, and configuration management of automation tasks and systems. This will include the cross platform support and delivery of DevOps Services across internal and cloud environments.
Major Tasks
- Execution of process engineering and operational improvement initiatives for automation tooling focused on cloud
- Defining, creating, and maintaining processes required to support production and development environments through the use of automation scripts, third party tools, utilities, or custom code
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Solutions) are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud operations or software development roles.
- Familiarity with managing cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of configuration management and release management processes.
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
