Utility Worker

• Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain production areas, storage spaces, and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe and organized environment 
• Equipment Operation and Support: Assist in operating machinery, move raw materials and finished plywood products, and perform minor repairs on production equipment 
• Inventory and Material Handling: Stock supplies, manage materials, and transport items between workstations or storage areas 
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure proper handling of chemicals, adhesives, and other industrial materials used in plywood production 
• Assistance in Production Tasks: Support skilled operators in cutting, sanding, or assembling plywood sheets, and help with quality inspections 
• Record Keeping: Maintain logs of completed maintenance, repairs, and safety checks 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, crouching, and working in various environmental conditions 
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools and equipment 
• Knowledge of safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals 
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively 
• Prior experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or utility work is advantageous
