Job Description

Join us at Helping Hands Noosaville, as an Assistant Coordinator, ready to build your confidence in leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 25 hours per week. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 6:00-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:30-6:00pm (Stay and Play).

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands-on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
  • Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
  • Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
  • Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities
  • Mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
  • Communicates clearly and confidently
  • Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
  • Has Australian work rights
