Exciting Opportunity for Material Controller

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in material management and inventory control? We are looking for a Material Controller to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of project materials. This role is critical in maintaining material availability, supporting project schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of client-supplied materials to ensure timely availability for project execution.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure timely inspection of incoming materials and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify shortages and support work-front planning.
• Coordinate with clients and procurement teams to follow up on material deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with clients to ensure materials are delivered in line with project schedules and requirements.
• Track material orders and maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, inspections, and material issuance.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to forecast material requirements for upcoming project phases.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, company procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity across all material management activities.
• Prepare inventory and material status reports as required by management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material control and inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support project and operational objectives.

Requirements:
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Material Controller role.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong inventory management, material tracking, and coordination skills. Ability to analyze inventory data, identify shortages, and support project planning requirements. Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; Hindi and Arabic are an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle. Experience with inventory management systems and material control processes is preferred.
