Job Description
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers focused on securing Alphabet’s multi-cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Computing Platform), providing clear goal and strategic direction to drive high-impact outcomes.
- Work with Team Leads to define and implement the strategy for cloud security controls including building new controls and approaches alongside enforcing them, well-lit paths, and baseline standards that balance developer velocity with security risk mitigation.
- Drive alignment by partnering within Privacy, Safety, and Security and across and Cloud (Cloud CISO and Product teams) to ensure consistent enforcement of security controls.
- Oversee proactive uplift strategies to continuously enhance security controls across cloud initiatives and ensure alignment with evolving standards.
