Job Description

Overview: Provides working leadership within the engineering team with a general responsibility for outer buildings throughout the resort. Provides both technical and administrative services to maintain buildings and associated systems Essential Functions:      Assist the Director and Assistant Director of Engineering Services in the full upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of logs on work done, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks surrounding mechanical teams.   Assist the department in the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders.   Review work orders and assign work by priorities.   Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.   Respond to guest requests.   Work with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinates their activities.   Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.   Have a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios.   Must be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures.   Oversee all Environmental programs on property   Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.   Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.   Tools and Equipment:   Electricians, plumbers and HVAC tools and equipment Computer skills for work order management and procurement   Working Environment:     Interior of resort, in all areas of the resort. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Exterior of resort with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.   Qualifications:   Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must have a NH Gasfitters License One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience is required, commercial refrigeration experience is a plus. Valid New Hampshire Driver's License and Drug screening required Previous experience with response to emergency situations is required. Must be attentive to detail. Must have the ability to adapt to unexpected situations. Must be able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The ability to utilize step stools and ladders.
