The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformers- Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking an Onsite Support analyst for our Blumenau, SC location in Brazil. As an OSS analyst, you will provide desk‑side IT support for all issues requiring physical intervention. You will support incident resolution by working closely with other IT teams and will act as a representative of the IT organization, serving as the primary customer‑facing contact for various IT functions.
How You´ll Make the Impact
- IT Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for on-site and remote users, troubleshooting issues related to printers, mobile devices (MFA, Wi-Fi, email), shared accounts, factory PCs, network connections, and peripherals.
- Device Provisioning and Deployment: Prepare, configure, and deliver computers and IT equipment in a ready-to-use condition.
- IT Asset and Inventory Management: Manage physical stock, perform regular inventory checks, and oversee the lifecycle of IT devices and accessories.
- Logistics and Vendor Coordination: Coordinate shipment and movement of devices, support third-party technicians, and handle warranty cases with OEM vendors.
- End-User and Collaboration Support: Assist users in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces and provide ad-hoc training on common IT topics.
- Documentation, Governance, and Compliance: Document incidents and solutions, follow OSS governance and procedures (Runbooks, SOPs), and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Infrastructure and Facilities Monitoring: Perform regular inspections of computer rooms, including temperature, air conditioning, cabling, and overall functionality.
- Information Security and Asset Protection: Identify critical assets, implement security measures (e.g., patching), report abnormal system behavior, and support cybersecurity initiatives in alignment with global teams.
Your Background
• Completed formal education in Information Technology.
• Experience in IT support.
• Fluent in both local language and English.
• Preferred: ITIL 4 and Lean Six Sigma certification
• Familiarity with ServiceNow IT Enterprise Platform.
• MS Office 365.
• Windows operating systems.
• Asset Management Tools.
