
Associate Director of Maintenance 2026-2027
Job Description
Lake Washington School District, Support Services department is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Associate Director of Maintenance. This position is based at the Support Services department in Redmond and reports to the Director of Maintenance and Operations. This is a full-time, year-round position with full benefit package. This position is to begin as soon as possible.
Salary: Central Administrator, Level 5 - Step 1 $146,746 - Step 2 $145,946 per year, 261 days. This is an exempt position. Full benefit package available.
Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Maintenance oversees the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of all school district facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing facility improvement projects. The Associate Director of Maintenance plays a critical role in creating a safe and conducive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. Lake Washington District consists of 56 schools covering seventy-six square miles in Kirkland, Redmond, and about half of Sammamish. The position reports to the Director of Maintenance & Operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibilities in management and oversight of maintenance operations.
- Experience working in K-12 facilities or other government organization environment preferred.
- Experience with managing CMMS or Work order management systems.
