The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a(n) Sales rep. for Medical Surgical Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Clinical Sales

  • Engage healthcare professionals with in-depth product knowledge and clinical expertise.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure proper usage and compliance.
  • Stay updated on clinical trends and regulatory requirements impacting sales.

General Sales

  • Drive revenue growth through effective negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term loyalty.

Data Management

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Utilize SFDC to track customer interactions and optimize sales processes.

Territory Planning

  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize coverage and efficiency.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in hospital market((PS & OS & TS Surgeon sales experience preferred) with medical devices or pharmaceutical product
  • Basic knowledge of theories and practices, applied to one discipline, within the sales function, including contract sales, field sales, inside sales, sales support, sales reporting, business intelligence, sales analytics, customer relationship management, territory planning/mapping/ sales rep issue resolution, CRM entries, etc.
  • Ability to request and receive necessary support from team members and departments, and to solve problems on their own
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
