Position Overview:
The Junior Loan Specialist is responsible for supporting daily loan operations. This role assigns incoming loan files, manages CRM leads, maintains organized and accurate records, and performs data entry with a high level of accuracy. The Junior Loan Specialist troubleshoots and supports CRM workflows, provides administrative and operational assistance to loan officers and team members, and helps maintain a smooth, compliant, and customer-focused lending process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assign loan files within the system.
- Manage and assign leads within the CRM.
- Maintain and update CRM records with accuracy.
- Perform data entry and data maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot lead routing issues and CRM workflow problems.
- Communicate daily with loan officers and team members.
- Assist with loan application processing and file support.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate records.
- Support efficient and timely loan processing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications, preferred.
- MLO license preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with technical support and troubleshooting in loan software or CRM systems.
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry, preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate data and identify trends.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficiency with basic office software and tools.
