Job Description
The Account Director will be responsible for leading day-to-day client relationships and driving the successful delivery of complex, multi-market marketing programmes, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia/APAC.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability
Serve as point of contact with clients for day to day responsibilities
Directly supporting VPs and Directors of account service and managing account managers, executives, and partners
Collaborate with and navigate complex network of partners/stakeholders for a primarily Southeast Asia / APAC based account
Researches and understands the brand, its category and its competitors to provide added value for the client while staying well-informed on marketing and media trends
Oversees partnership activation, event execution and operations - bringing a high level of organisation, proactivity, and problem-solving expertise
Collaborates with strategy, creative, and production teams to deliver insightful and detailed briefs, polished presentation decks, and solid activation plans in service of the client
Influences the development of the highest quality of creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment and basic strategic recommendations.
Meticulously manages project administration tools including status sheets, budget, timelines, and calendars for client approvals
Provides written weekly status and conference call reports following meetings to ensure client and agency are in agreement
Supports in production elements of experiential campaigns in collaboration with partners and the internal team to ensure smooth and flawless execution
Manages project communications, ensuring that any issues, changes or required performances that impact the project are documented and addressed with the project team
Compiles post-campaign recaps, performance metrics and evaluation documents
You Will Have:
6-10 years of marketing experience with an agency or brand side
Strong client management experience, with good communication and creative problem solving skills
Is highly organised and excels at project management for complex, partnership or multi-stakeholder programmes
Background in experiential marketing, planning, production, and/or operations
Experience working with global or regional clients, especially within the Southeast Asia region
Experience in partnerships marketing and management
Experience in culinary and F&B is not a requirement, but nice-to-have
