About the Role of Indirect Procurement Lead Role
- Sourcing Strategy Development & Execution
Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for indirect categories, including IT hardware/software, consulting, construction, workplace services, travel, professional and HR services, training, marketing, packaging, and logistics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost optimization. - Supplier Management & Development
Lead end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, including onboarding, qualification, and performance management. Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, service reliability, and continuous value creation. - Contract Negotiation & Governance
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial and legal terms for the company. Oversee contract execution, including internal approvals and chop/signature processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. - Spend Analysis & Cost Optimization
Perform in-depth spend analysis to identify savings opportunities, demand consolidation, and process efficiencies, driving measurable cost improvements. - Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide strategic procurement guidance, and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies and policies. - Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence
Drive procurement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process transparency, and policy compliance. - Risk & Compliance Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement activities, ensuring adherence to corporate governance and regulatory requirements. - Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, savings achievements, supplier performance, and key metrics to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
- PR-to-PO Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement process from PR to PO.
- Policy Governance: Adapt and enforce procurement policies in line with global standards.
- Supplier Management: Ensure supplier quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract processes and secure favorable terms.
- Spend Analysis: Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Align procurement activities with business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement and supplier risks.
- Reporting: Provide regular insights on procurement performance.
- Company Car Management: Oversee company vehicle sourcing and coordination.
- Travel Management: Manage corporate travel arrangements and vendors.
- Global Project Leadership: Lead procurement-related projects in Korea.
- Systems: Utilize SAP, eProcure, Power App, ClickUp, and DocuSign.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing indirect spend categories (e.g., IT, facilities, services, travel).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and operating SAP system.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization is preferred.
- Possession of a professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is an advantage.
