The Opportunity
We are looking for a for a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer/Technician to join our team at Hitachi Energy.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to manage the installation and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) substation primary equipment. It involves executing and finalizing commissioning activities in line with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
How you'll make impact
- Execute commissioning of HV/MV substation equipment (e.g., circuit breakers, disconnectors, GIS)
- Coordinate with site teams and support installation activities
- Ensure documentation is updated and lessons learned are shared
- Support project risk assessment and customer acceptance
- Provide technical support to sales and training to customers
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
Your Background
- At least 2 years of experience with commissioning or installation HV substation
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with HV/MV substation equipment commissioning
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on-site and communicate with customers
- Communicative English and Romanian
- Driving licence
