- Reports to the GWP Plant Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain your machine.
- Set up equipment and monitor basic tooling sharpness and quality.
- Assist in general quality control and reports concerns to supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance and notify management of issues.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist in general production when needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Credentials, Education, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Basic mechanical aptitude: prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety laws and regulations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Consistently meet established production goals with accuracy & efficiency.
Environment and Physical Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 25-75 lbs frequently.
- Work also requires the ability to climb, reach, pull, stoop, crawl, and bend.
- Exposure to fumes, odors, and loud noises-must wear safety gear, including eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes and a respirator when necessary.
