Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a versatile and experienced Business Analyst supporting emerging technologies to facilitate digital transformation projects across diverse industry sectors. In this role, the candidate will analyze and translate complex business needs, develop detailed solution designs, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong understanding of business processes, technological trends, and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
Requirements management tools: Jira, Confluence — supporting detailed requirements documentation, traceability, and collaboration (latest versions)
Process modeling tools: Visio, Lucidchart — for creating workflow diagrams, process maps, and operational models
Business intelligence/reporting tools: Power BI, Tableau — for data visualization and stakeholder reporting support
Agile project management tools supporting sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking
Preferred Software Skills:
Business analysis frameworks supporting process optimization and customer journey mapping
Data analytics tools supporting operational or customer insights support
Overall Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and validate detailed business and functional requirements supporting enterprise or client-driven projects
Translate business needs into comprehensive functional and technical specifications, including process models and workflows
Collaborate with product owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with strategic objectives
Facilitate requirement workshops, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives supporting operational excellence
Support development and testing teams by providing detailed requirement documentation and use cases
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and coordination to ensure solution delivery meets business expectations
Monitor and manage scope and change requests to ensure project timelines and budget targets are met
Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project status and requirement clarifications

Languages & Tools:
Essential: Jira, Confluence — comprehensive management of requirements and documentation support
Preferred: Business modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart) supporting process and workflow design
Data & Analytics:
Support for data analysis, visualization, and requirements supporting enterprise reporting (Power BI, Tableau)

Experience Requirements
2-5 years of experience supporting business analysis and process improvement initiatives in enterprise or client environments
Proven track record translating complex business needs into detailed requirements and technical specifications
Experience working within agile teams supporting project lifecycle activities from inception to implementation
Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or large-scale enterprise sectors supporting compliance and operational excellence (preferred)
Alternative pathways include extensive experience in business process management and documentation support supporting enterprise transformation
Day-to-Day Activities
Conduct requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed business needs
Document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements supporting project scope and objectives
Analyze business processes and workflows, proposing process enhancements and automation opportunities
Collaborate with development, testing, and operational teams to clarify requirements and support solution design
Support UAT activities, requirement sign-off, and change management processes
Maintain and update detailed documentation supporting project artifacts, process models, and operational standards
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular project updates
Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new methods, tools, and industry best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2-5 years of experience supporting business analysis in enterprise or large-scale transformation projects
Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA are advantageous
Proven experience supporting requirements management and process optimization activities supporting compliance and operational excellence
