Overview of the role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our Service team in Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing and repair work in line with dealership and manufacturer standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship, technical efficiency, and strong productivity. You will play a key role in delivering a right first-time experience for customers while contributing to workshop performance and revenue.

What you will do
•    Carry out service and repair work on customer vehicles as per the repair order and workshop schedule
•    Diagnose faults accurately and complete repairs in line with company and principal standards
•    Identify and report any additional repair requirements along with estimated costs
•    Maintain check sheets, log sheets, and all required technical documentation
•    Ensure proper handling, care, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and assigned work bay
•    Support workshop efficiency targets by completing jobs within the allocated time
•    Conduct final inspections and ensure zero repeat repairs wherever possible
•    Participate in required training, internal assessments, and certification programs
•    Follow workshop safety procedures, use PPE correctly, and report incidents promptly

Required skills to be successful
•    Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis
•    2–3 years of experience as a technician within an automotive dealership. ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering
•    Good understanding of workshop procedures, standards, and operating practices
•    Ability to use automotive tools, equipment, workshop manuals, and wiring diagrams

You will be part of the Service Department, reporting to the Service Supervisor, and working alongside a team focused on delivering high-quality after-sales support and an excellent customer experience. The team is committed to maintaining strong technical standards, workshop productivity, and continuous improvement through training and development.

•    Hands-on experience in servicing and repairing vehicles in a workshop environment
•    Familiarity with automotive parts, repair processes, and dealership service standards
•    Valid driving experience and confidence in handling customer vehicles
•    A hardworking, honest, and productive approach to work
•    Willingness to complete internal assessments and certification requirements aligned to the role level
•    Basic PC skills for documentation and workshop systems
•    Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and productivity
•    Good problem-solving skills with a focus on fix-it-right-first-time
•    Awareness of safety standards and the importance of maintaining a clean, organized work area
