Job Description
The Franciscan Manager of Food and Nutrition Services plans, directs, and coordinates activities for the Food and Nutrition Department, and may specialize in a specific area(s) ensuring economic and efficient service. This position implements business practices and department standards, to uphold the company mission and values. The Manager ensures the department is meeting safety and infection control requirements of state and federal agencies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Assist in developing and planning menus for patient services, assembling and delivering trays.
Overseeing all food service staffing responsibilities
Act for Director in his/her absence and debriefs Director.
Assist with the development and management of departmental budgets, including making budget allocations, approving expenditures and ensuring expenses are within budget.
Assist in orientations and training of new employees.
Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance with ACHC, Hospital policies, and health department regulations
Build a positive and respectful work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED - Required
Bachelor's Degree Dietetics, Restaurant, Hospitality, Culinary or like area of Study - Preferred
5 years Healthcare Food Service, Dietetics, Restaurant/Hospitality or like Area of Study - Preferred
3 years Supervision - Required
Food Handler Certification - ServSafe obtained within 180 days - Required
