This role demands a dynamic leader with strong sales acumen in wealth products, excellent people management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving business growth.
As a pivotal leader within our Wealth Management team, you will be based in an office environment, overseeing the business performance of our Wealth Centre, Tele-consulting teams, driving aggressive Business Development, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance. You will drive the strategic execution of retail and wealth management sales, develop robust Wealth Centre leadership, and ensure the highest standards of customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales Leadership and Performance Management
Drive the performance of Wealth Business Managers to consistently exceed overall KPIs.
Lead daily sales management activities, setting and agreeing on sales targets and conducting performance appraisals in collaboration with the Deputy Cluster Manager (DCM).
Monitor, evaluate, and track sales results using division Management Information (MI) reports to ensure continuous improvement.
Business Development and Market Expansion
Identify new market opportunities and customer segments within the area to support business growth.
Develop credible resources and platforms to empower sales teams for effective customer engagement and sales.
Actively participate in recruitment efforts to build a strong, capable sales team.
Training and Competency Development
Conduct regular training sessions to keep sales team updated on the latest tools, techniques, and market information, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Identify competency gaps among sales staff and proactively implement upskilling programs to enhance productivity and ensure high proficiency in Wealth Management products and services.
Customer Retention and Relationship Management
Maintain and grow relationships with profitable and valuable customers through organized events and direct engagement.
Collaborate closely with Sales Teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service quality.
Resource Management and Recruitment
Lead recruitment and sourcing initiatives to attract top sales talent.
Optimize the use of area resources and leverage location advantages to increase lead generation and conversion capabilities.
Compliance and Policy Adherence
Ensure full understanding and strict compliance with all internal bank policies, regulatory requirements, and guidelines outlined in the employee handbook and internal policy manuals.
