Summary/Objective The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily inventory operations to ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across all warehouse and production areas

This role oversees cycle counts, monitors inventory transactions, investigates discrepancies, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with company objectives

The Inventory Control Supervisor helps coordinate information flow between production, purchasing, and logistics to maintain data integrity within the ERP system and ensure materials are available where and when needed

Duties and

: Essential Functions: Lead daily inventory control activities including cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and reconciliations

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and ERP records

Maintain and update part locations, cycle counts, and Kanban replenishment systems

Support year-end physical inventory and variance analysis

Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and production departments to ensure timely and accurate material movement

Train and guide inventory team members in proper counting, labeling, and data entry procedures

Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce variances

Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and stock discrepancies

Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to minimize damage and obsolescence

Support cross-functional projects involving inventory reduction, space utilization, and process optimization

Enforce safety, 5S, and quality standards within all inventory areas

: Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years previous experience in an inventory control or warehouse supervisory role Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Experience with Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies a plus

Competencies: Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to interpret and analyze data to make sound decisions

Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time

position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager

Travel: Travel will be minimal and will be primarily local during the business day
