Job Description

The District seeks candidates to fill a Special Education Assistant Long-Term Substitute at Bradford Woods Elementary School, effective date to be determined through June 6, 2026.
A Special Education Assistant will provide support services for identified students assigned to select regular and/or special education environments and will work collaboratively with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education Teachers and Regular Education Teachers to provide students with academic, emotional, social, behavioral, and physical support.
Special Education Assistant positions work 7 hours per day during the school year only.
Starting Hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The rate for the 2025-2026 School Year is $20.10/Hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.
Minimum Requirements Include 48 credits of a post-secondary education, Associates Degree, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment.

- Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA Criminal Record Check
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
- Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
