Background
World Vision is a relief and development organization working to improve the quality of life of people, especially children who are marginalized and living in poverty. World Vision helps all who are in need, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender. World Vision International in Vietnam (WVI) has been funded by 13 support countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. Funding of WVI in Vietnam consists of sponsorship program funding (70%) and Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS)/grants (30%). WVI employs about 400 staff, of which 99% are Vietnamese nationals.
WVI is operating in 25 Area Programs (AP) in 4 zones: North 1 (Dien Bien, Ha Noi, Hai Phong), North 2 (Thanh Hoa, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh), Central (Quang Tri, and Da Nang), and South (Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh, Dak Nong). WVI’s AP usually focuses on one administrative district of a province which populated by ethnic minority people with high rates of poverty. Beside the APs, WVI is also implementing different Special and Grant Projects to meet the specific needs of vulnerable children in both AP and non-AP areas.
We are looking for a competent Vietnamese candidate to fill the following position:
Job Title: ADP Sponsorship Facilitator
Work Location: Tuyen Minh Area Program in Tuyen Minh commune, Quang Tri Province
Reports to: Area Development Program Manager
Position information:
1, As the ADP Sponsorship Facilitator, you will:
Provide specialized support for the implementation of Child Sponsorship Operations within the Area Development Program, including:
Sponsorship management and coordination
Sponsorship in programming
Sponsor and child engagement
Quality assurance and risk management
Sponsorship systems and processes
Capacity building, team management, and collaboration
2, This role is for you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in education, public health, community development, social work and/or related field
Motorbike driving license is required
At least 02 years of development facilitation experience in and with communities, experience in the design and facilitation of training programs, and in-depth understanding and experience in child sponsorship and its contribution to child well-being
Language requirement: Vietnamese: Fully fluent. English: Intermediate
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
