Purpose of the Job
Lead strategic relationships with key telecommunications and retail partners, acting as the primary brand representative to protect brand equity and drive mutual business growth. This role is responsible for establishing executive-level partner governance, developing and executing joint marketing strategies, and ensuring seamless alignment between product launches, co-marketing initiatives, and partner capabilities to deliver impactful customer acquisition and retail execution across regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the brand-authorized point of contact for external partner leadership, protecting brand equity and maintaining direct authority with top-tier telecommunications and retail partners.
Establish and lead high-touch partner governance frameworks, cultivating deep relationships with executive-level stakeholders to drive mutual business growth.
Oversee commercial alignment and brand presence for high-stakes retail conventions, ensuring marketing strategies translate effectively into B2B2C retail environments.
Architect and execute joint campaign strategies with key partners, maximizing co-marketing budgets and driving shared customer acquisition goals.
Synchronize co-marketing timelines and launch roadmaps across external channels, proactively mitigating risks and protecting against internal or regional launch collisions.
Bridge the gap between product marketing timelines and partner capabilities, ensuring flawless execution of simultaneous regional campaigns.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
5–8+ years of experience in Partner Marketing, Channel Marketing, or Strategic Brand Management—specifically managing high-touch, matrixed partnerships (telecom or major retail experience highly preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Native/fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to seamlessly navigate corporate leadership and top-tier regional partners (like Telcel).
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders, fostering trusted partnerships that drive long-term business value and strategic alignment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate complex discussions, align diverse interests, and secure buy-in across internal and external leadership teams.
Ability to anticipate market opportunities and risks, balancing partner needs with brand objectives to deliver mutually beneficial growth strategies.
Proven capability to coordinate and align multiple stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and partner organizations, ensuring seamless execution of high-impact initiatives and launches.
