
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled IAM Engineer to join our team
As a key contributor to our Security & IAM engineering team, you will play a vital role in enhancing and streamlining our IAM workflows
Your
will include developing new integrations, automating onboarding and configuration processes, managing IdP connectivity, and ensuring our identity infrastructure aligns with security best practices
Additionally, you will support cloud deployments, maintain data integrity across directories, and leverage automation to improve efficiency and security across our IT landscape
Support the evolution of workflows and processes related to identity management
Create and develop new connectors for identity platforms and integrations
Automate large-scale onboarding processes (e.g., NAS onboarding) to improve efficiency
Administer and automate IdP configurations, ensuring alignment with security
Manage IdP connectivity, configurations, and onboarding of AXA Belgium applications
Leverage self-service capabilities of identity platforms to create standardized AXA Belgium configuration templates
Ensure proper content organization and data stewardship within global and local identity and authorization directories
Prevent proliferation of multiple identity and authorization stores across the IT landscape, maintaining data consistency and lifecycle management
Stay informed about the IAM standards and incorporate best practices into workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve security and identity-related issues, including proxy configurations, load balancing, and IAM integrations
Assist in deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, ensuring security controls are properly implemented
Your profile Proven experience (3+ years) in IAM engineering
Strong knowledge of IAM standards including OIDC, SAML, and OAuth
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Proficiency in programming with Java and Python
Deep understanding of proxies (web, reverse, forward) and load balancing solutions
Experience automating onboarding processes and managing large-scale identity workflows
Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
