Marsh is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual for the position of Claims Advocate - FINPRO, based in Malaysia. This role is pivotal in managing complex claims within the Financial and Professional (FINPRO) practice. The successful candidate will leverage technology to enhance claims processes while providing exceptional advocacy and advisory services to our clients.

Technical Claims Specialist (General Insurance)

Claims Operations (Supporting Hong Kong)

  • Processing General Insurance (Non-Motor) Claims include verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility, determining coverage parameters, and calculating appropriate claim settlements.
  • The ultimate objective is to facilitate a streamlined and accurate claims handling process, ensuring prompt and equitable resolutions for a diverse range of non-motor insurance policies in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:

  • Interpret policy wording and exclusions and apply indemnity principles accurately.
  • Verify computed claim settlements and confirm reimbursements from insurers are correct.
  • Monitor unsettled claims and chase outstanding information or actions from insurers and clients.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and presentation skills relevant to claims management.
  • Produce monthly claims statistics and maintain up-to-date claims documentation and records.
  • Identify process or operational issues within the team or with clients and propose practical solutions.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives that improve departmental efficiency and productivity.

What you need to have:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Ability to read and write Chinese.
  • Minimum 4-7 years working experience in General Insurance claims
  • Good work ethics with high level of integrity, detailed oriented, compliant and process driven
