
Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Description
- Ensure all Supplier PPAP requirements are completed accurately and on time to support customer submissions
- Monitor and report supplier quality performance, including corrective actions and improvements
- Conduct new supplier qualification audits and ongoing supplier surveillance audits
- Lead on-site problem-solving activities at supplier locations as needed
- Maintain and support corporate supplier quality systems and processes
- Manage conflict minerals reporting and compliance activities
- Maintain and update IMDS database for purchased materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Strong understanding of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- Experience working within IATF 16949 quality systems
- Second-party audit experience
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
