Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
U.S. Bank is seeking a Technology Strategy Consultant to join a high-impact internal consulting team within the Technology organization. This team operates as a matrixed, project-based group that partners across the enterprise to drive large-scale technology initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, visible programs while influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and executive-level communication.
This person will operate as an internal consultant, owning and driving a defined workstream within larger technology initiatives. They will lead analysis, develop recommendations, and translate findings into executive-ready presentations. This individual will work cross-functionally with technology partners and stakeholders, balancing both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Own and drive an end-to-end workstream within a larger technology initiative
- Lead data analysis and synthesize insights to inform decisions and recommendations
- Translate complex findings into executive-level presentations and storytelling (PowerPoint-heavy deliverables)
- Partner with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, applications, etc.) to gather inputs and move work forward
- Develop and manage plans, timelines, and deliverables for assigned workstreams
- Drive stakeholder communication, including updates, alignment, and change-related messaging
- Contribute to strategy development while supporting execution of key initiatives
- Build strong working relationships across teams in a highly matrixed environment
- Operate with a high level of ownership, taking initiative and proactively advancing work
Must Have Skills:
- Experience owning and managing a workstream within a larger project or program
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to create presentations and storytelling (PowerPoint-driven)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without formal authority
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in a business-facing environment
- Experience in project-based work environments with accountability for deliverables and timelines
- High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Background in consulting or strategy roles
- Experience in internal strategy, transformation, or corporate consulting teams
- Exposure to technology initiatives
- Experience balancing strategy and execution within the same role
- Familiarity working in highly matrixed organizations with shared resources
- Experience supporting change management or executive communications

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
