Position Title: Watch Care Provider
Location: Fort Carson, CO – Religious Support Office (RSO) Facilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct childcare for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children during religious services and events (up to 4 hours weekly plus 8 special events annually).
Maintain line-of-sight supervision of children at all times.
Follow Army Regulation (AR) 608-10 child-to-adult ratios and facility capacity requirements.
Ensure proper hygiene, including handwashing, diapering, clothing changes, and safe feeding practices.
Administer basic first aid for minor injuries and promptly notify guardians or supervisors of incidents.
Reset and sanitize Watch Care rooms after each session, including cleaning toys, equipment, and surfaces.
Qualifications
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior experience working with children in childcare, education, or community settings preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with children, parents, and RSO staff.
