Job Description
We are seeking an Account Executive Director to support the National FI segment team.
This role works closely with the sales team and aligns solutions to boost payment volume and revenue for one of Visa’s largest accounts in the US. The role will also include additional account responsibilities including network office management and client support.
Responsibilities include managing a complex contract, ongoing reporting to Finance and Senior Leadership and identifying new opportunities for engagement. Collaboration is central to the role, requiring close partnership with both Visa teams and the clients to deliver tailored solutions across product, marketing, operational and analytics disciplines.
The individual in this role will engage with various internal teams and contribute to major projects, support customized integration efforts, and enhance strategic value for the client. Client relationships are critical to this role and there is daily interaction with senior executives on the client side.
Visa is seeking a professional with expertise in payments strategy, who can thrive in an environment that is fast-paced, complex, and occasionally ambiguous. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities are crucial. This role reports to a VP on the Nationals team.
The ideal candidate is task-oriented and thrives on responsiveness and organization. The candidate achieves success by building effective partnerships and delivering innovative solutions within the payments space. Creativity and a collaborative communication style are key, along with a demonstrated ability to help clients achieve their strategic objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- 12 or more years of relevant business development experience, preferably in payments
- Understanding of payment systems and products (e.g., card networks, consumer, commercial, debit, credit) and ecosystem participants.
- Experienced solution sales leader with a record of accomplishment for delivering results, must possess the ability to identify the inspired path forward to partner, structure creative partnership constructs, and demonstrate success in contract negotiations to drive new business.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills. Experience in managing relationships and cultivating deep, trusted partnerships with clients and partners. Ability to explain complex business concepts to broad audiences in an engaging way.
- Natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and group presentation skills with executive presence
- Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to challenge the status quo and identify new opportunities to innovate and differentiate.

The estimated salary range for this position is $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
