Position Overview: 

As a Guest Room Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional luxury experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service. You will ensure that guest rooms and suites are impeccably maintained, well-stocked, and presented to reflect the five-star quality expected at a Forbes-rated resort. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Clean, organize, and refresh guest rooms and suites according to Forbes luxury standards and resort protocols. 
  • Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replaced and stocked as per resort standards. 
  • Perform detailed inspections to ensure impeccable presentation, from perfectly pressed linens to dust-free surfaces. 
  • Sanitize bathrooms, replenish toiletries, and maintain high hygiene standards. 
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department. 
  • Follow proper handling and care procedures for all cleaning equipment and supplies. 
  • Anticipate guest needs by proactively restocking amenities and ensuring a welcoming room environment. 
  • Accommodate special guest requests such as extra linens, pillows, or personalized room preferences. 
  • Maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality while working in guest-occupied rooms. 
  • Adhere to Forbes Travel Guide and resort housekeeping standards. 
  • Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines to ensure a secure and clean environment. 
  • Ensure compliance with the resort’s sustainability initiatives and eco-friendly cleaning practices. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of Forbes Five-Star standards is a plus. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment. 
Physical Requirements: 
  • Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. 
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
