Job Description
- Monitor network dashboards and alerting systems (e.g., IRM) for anomalies, perform initial triage to classify severity, and act on alerts within defined SLOs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve low to moderate complexity network incidents affecting wired/wireless networks, routing, switching, and firewalls by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement routine network changes, such as port configurations, VLAN assignments, and software updates, following approved Change Requests (CRs) and performing pre- and post-change verifications.
- Maintain network diagrams, manage user-reported tickets, coordinate with vendors/ISPs, and escalate high-impact issues to senior engineers with detailed diagnostic information.
