Role Overview
Candescent is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Hyderabad center across Product, Engineering, and Technology functions. This role combines strategic HR partnership with operational excellence and requires strong stakeholder management skills, deep understanding of employee engagement, and the ability to drive people initiatives aligned with global priorities.
You will report to the VP – HR and work closely with global HR teams and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to implement HR programs, foster a high-performance culture, and enhance employee experience.
Location: Hyderabad, India
Experience: 6–10 years in HRBP roles, preferably in technology-driven organizations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership
Act as the primary HR partner for Hyderabad-based tech teams.
Align local HR strategies with global priorities and business objectives.
Provide advisory to managers and leaders on workforce planning, team effectiveness, and organizational development.
2. Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with business leaders, ensuring HR initiatives are well-integrated into business plans.
Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and HR analytics.
Serve as a trusted advisor on talent, engagement, and organizational health.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
Drive engagement programs, listening forums, and pulse surveys to strengthen employee experience.
Promote Candescent’s values and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Implement interventions based on eNPS and engagement data.
4. Talent Development & Performance
Support performance management cycles: goal-setting, reviews, and development planning.
Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and enable career growth.
Facilitate leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
5. HR Operations & Governance
Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
Oversee onboarding, exits, and documentation for Hyderabad employees.
Collaborate with global HRIS teams to drive adoption of Workday modules for performance, compensation, and reporting.
Requirements
Experience & Background
6–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in product, SaaS, or technology-first environments.
Proven HRBP experience supporting tech or engineering teams.
Exposure to global HR programs and systems; Workday experience is a plus.
