Job Description
Application Support Engineer Senior
Requirements:
Must have:
Senior experience in application support for cloud‑native, microservices‑based applications
Strong background in C# and .NET Framework 3.5 and above, .NET Core
Experience supporting Java‑based backend services
Experience with containerized environments, Docker, Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of AWS microservices architectures
Experience with cloud integration and data services, AppSync, DocumentDB
Experience supporting Sitecore platforms, including Sitecore XM Cloud
Experience supporting frontend deployments on Vercel
Working knowledge of AngularJS for frontend issue analysis and collaboration
Experience performing end‑to‑end troubleshooting across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Experience monitoring distributed systems and analyzing application performance
Ability to validate deployments and ensure post‑release stability
Experience working in 24x7 production support environments
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Provide 24x7 production support for business‑critical applications
Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Fulfill service requests and provide application configuration support
Monitor application health and performance in distributed, cloud‑native systems
Validate deployments and perform post‑release stability checks
Execute proactive health checks to prevent outages and performance degradation
Troubleshoot APIs, microservices, and cloud integrations
Support Sitecore XM Cloud applications and related services
Support frontend hosting and deployment issues on Vercel
Analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior to identify issues
Collaborate with development, platform, and infrastructure teams during incidents
Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles
Propose and implement improvements and minor application enhancements
Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and service reliability
