Branch Manager

The Branch Manager is a driven individual with a commitment to service excellence.  She/He works on business initiatives for the branch through recruiting loan officers and development of marketing plans.  The incumbent also manages day to day operations of the branch as directed by the market SVP. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of management experience in the mortgage industry with a proven track record of meeting sales goals with their team.    General Responsibilities Promote our organization in a positive way, with an emphasis on marketing and building new business with referral partners such as builders and realtors. Support a group of loan officers by reviewing scenarios and assisting with structuring loan files, resolving or escalating file level issues to proper management. Recruit, lead, train and motivate employees to achieve desired production goals, while maintaining own pipeline. Adhere to state, regional and federal guidelines, and ensure all loans meet company policies and procedures. Ensure all staff members follow branch procedures, policies, and protocols. Meet and exceed sales management goals, pipeline goals, and new business generation goals to increase market share. Network with local realtors, builders and mortgage associations to assist with production growth and recruiting.  Education and Experience  Current, active NMLS license. 4-year college degree preferred. Successful branch management experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, state bond, USDA, and portfolio loan programs and underwriting guidelines. Experience with Encompass / Optimal Blue / DU & LP, preferred.  Skills and Qualifications Strong time management skills, including ability to accurately prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines. Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents. Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness along with the ability to demonstrate professionalism. Strong command of technology including loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
