We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Lines team at Marsh. We are flexible regarding the location of this role. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will manage claims across Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O), Professional Indemnity and other Financial Lines classes of business, supporting clients through the claims process and helping to determine coverage.

You will work with a portfolio of SME to large corporate and ASX-listed clients, providing trusted advice, practical support and a high standard of client service. You will also work closely with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders to help deliver positive claims outcomes.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage Financial Lines claims with a focus on client advocacy and quality service

  • Support clients from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear advice and helping protect their interests throughout the claims process

  • Provide guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, including supporting clients where indemnity is declined

  • Respond to client and broker queries and liaise with insurers, claimants and external service providers

  • Manage moderate to complex claims in line with company processes and Client Service Agreements

  • Identify matters for referral and work with the Advocacy team on claims-related issues

What you need to have:

  • Experience in insurance claims, ideally within Financial Lines

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurers and other stakeholders

  • Experience managing claims with attention to process, detail and client outcomes

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience advising on policy coverage and claims strategy within Financial Lines

  • Legal or insurance qualifications, such as a Law degree or ANZIIF, while not essential

  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing work independently
