Dental Hygienist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team in Goodlettsville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and possess the necessary licenses to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
• Administer nitrous oxide safely and effectively.
• Apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and provide scaling and root planing (SRP) treatments.
• Administer local anesthetics as needed during dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments.
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Valid Nitrous Oxide Administration License.
• Experience with dental sealants application.
• Proven experience in periodontal therapy including scaling and root planing (SRP).
• Valid Anesthetic License for administering local anesthesia.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
