The Finance Operations team is seeking an experienced leader to manage and transform Amazon’s global Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global AR, this Manager-of-Managers role will oversee Operational Managers and lead large-scale AR functions including dispute management, invoicing, remittance application, collections, cash application, and receivables management.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and influential leader capable of representing the interests of the Finance Operations Receivables organization across Amazon. This role requires driving operational excellence, strengthening controllership, enhancing customer experience, and delivering business outcomes through process optimization and innovation.

As a leader in the organization, you will shape the future of AR operations by leveraging automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, accelerate cash flow, and create scalable, future-ready financial processes. You will partner closely with business, technology, compliance, and finance stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, implement intelligent workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

Strategy & Prioritization

Define and drive operational priorities in alignment with broader organizational objectives, leveraging AI-powered insights, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
Lead the Accounts Receivable strategy focused on enhancing customer and vendor experience through continuous improvement of key performance metrics, service levels, automation, and intelligent workflow solutions.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify upstream and downstream optimization opportunities, utilizing AI/ML technologies to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate process cycle times.

Champion the adoption of AI and automation across the organization by establishing usage goals, monitoring adoption metrics, and ensuring teams are effectively trained and equipped to integrate AI into daily operations.
Operational Excellence

Establish, monitor, and continuously enhance operational performance metrics, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across Accounts Receivable functions.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise across multiple AR domains, including cash application, credit note management, receivables management, collections, and debit balance recovery, while identifying opportunities for process optimization and scalability.

Controllership & Compliance
Assess, communicate, and mitigate Accounts Receivable controllership risks by evaluating the effectiveness of existing controls and implementing robust risk management frameworks.
Drive policy adherence, procedural compliance, and control governance by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational and design effectiveness of internal controls in close partnership with Internal Audit and Compliance teams.

Strengthen the overall control environment through proactive monitoring, process standardization, and continuous evaluation of financial and operational risks.

Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop a high-performing organization comprising Operational Managers and teams supporting end-to-end receivables processes, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and customer obsession.
Build an AI-enabled workforce by driving capability development, upskilling teams on emerging technologies, and embedding AI adoption into performance expectations and business outcomes.

Coach and mentor leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and talent development while driving engagement and operational excellence at scale.
