Anti-Social Behaviour Caseworker (Temp)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two people to join Cornwall Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team as

1. the dedicated ASB Caseworker for Penzance (jointly funded by Penzance Council and Cornwall Council) and
2. the dedicated Caseworker for Redruth (jointly funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner, Redruth Town Council and Cornwall Council).

The roles are responsible for providing a highly visible presence, foot patrolling in Penzance Town Centre and surrounding areas, and Redruth Town Centre and surrounding areas. The roles liaise closely with the police, and provide advice, support and assurance to businesses, shoppers, and residents. The roles work closely with organisations who provide support for members of the community with complex and vulnerable needs, including rough sleepers and street drinkers, building relationships with the individuals themselves, providing a balance of support and enforcement. Appointment subject to passing of advanced police vetting.
