
Patient Access Representative - Part Time
Job Description
Collects clinical, demographic and insurance information. Registers /schedules patients for treatment accurately and in a timely manner. Verifies insurance benefits and obtains necessary prior approvals. Facilitates up-front collections and refers self-pay accounts and insurance issues to a financial counselor. Reviews physician’s orders and follows scheduling guidelines as determined by various hospital departments. Responds to telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
