Job Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities for all facilities at Alltech HQ. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and services function efficiently, and that safety and compliance standards are met. The coordinator will oversee the maintenance schedule, work closely with vendors, and respond to maintenance requests while ensuring minimal disruption to employees’ workday.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities for all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of service.
Work Order Management: Track and prioritize work orders and maintenance requests, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities equipment are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards, environmental guidelines, and building codes.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs, repair reports, and inspections in eMaint CMMS.
Staff Supervision: Oversee and guide a team of facilities technicians and support staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
Knowledge of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
Proficiency with computer software for tracking work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management (e.g., CMMS systems, MS Office, excel.).
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Desired Skills:
Experience with facility management software and systems. BMS, CMS, Lighting Controls, etc..
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with occasional after-hours work for emergency maintenance.
Physical demands may include lifting, standing, and moving equipment.
Work Schedule:
Workdays are 7:00am to 5:00pm
On Call 24/7 for Facilities related issues
Requirements:
Complete CFM (Certified Facilities Maintenance) online course and pass exam within ONE year of start date.
Complete CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) online course and pass exam within TWO years of tart date.
Attend Fluke bootcamp for eMaint within one year of start date
