Job Description

The Opportunity:

The President of Accelevate is accountable for driving growth through third-party broker distribution, expanding strategic carrier partnerships, and accelerating ancillary benefit production across Hylant.  This role serves as Accelevate’s primary sales leader and external face, with direct responsibility for revenue growth, partner engagement, and market expansion.  This role will balance strategic leadership, business development, and establish Accelevate as the premier solution for ancillary benefits marketing in the marketplace.

In This Role You Will Execute On:

  • Drive new business development with third-party brokers and strategic partners, positioning Accelevate as the preferred ancillary general agency solution.
  • Direct accountability for Accelevate revenue growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends, product opportunities, and competitive positioning to expand Accelevate’s market share.
  • Serve as the chief ambassador for Accelevate at industry events, conferences, and in high-value client meetings.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with top-tier brokers, agencies, and carrier partners to drive growth and mutual value.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Benefits COO to negotiate and manage carrier contracts to ensure competitive products, compensation arrangements, and long-term alignment.
  • Collaborate with Hylant regional leaders, producers, and account teams to integrate Accelevate solutions into broader client strategies.

In This Role You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in insurance operations, general agency, employee benefits, or related financial services, including executive-level P&L responsibility.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through broker distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of ancillary benefits products (dental, vision, life, disability, worksite, etc.)
  • Demonstrated history of personally developing and sustaining high-value broker or distribution relationships.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

The Work Environment:

  • The position involves a high degree of external engagement, with expected travel of approximately 60% to support broker, carrier, and producer relationships.
  • Work is generally performed in a typical office environment with limited exposure to physical risk or physical effort required.
