Job Description
- Oversee accounting records, ledgers, and GAAP reporting processes on various aspects of the consolidated business,
- Assist the Controller in managing the monthly close process, including analysis and work to reduce the timeline for the close process,
- Manage, and develop, a staff of accounting professionals,
- Research accounting issues and ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards,
- Assist in managing the annual audit with our audit firm,
- Prepare necessary ad hoc reporting required by management,
- Coordinate with and prepare reports for the CFO, other management and internal customers,
- Preparing process documentation and evaluating existing processes for improvement,
- Assessing and developing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas,
- Work closely across various functions, particularly with FP&A,
- Leading more complex accounting projects and initiatives including purchase accounting & new GAAP pronouncements with other members of the accounting and finance team,
- Technical Accounting experience and knowledge

- CPA,
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
- 6+ years of total experience obtained in a Big 4 or second-tier public accounting firm (minimum 4+ years requirement) with remaining experience, if any, in a sophisticated corporate environment
- Strong GAAP financial reporting experience,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel,
- Ability to collaborate in both a virtual and in-person setting.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $78,000 to $130,000 annually. This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.
