CNC EX, LLC dba Exotic Cars of the Carolinas Greensboro

Location: 5603 Roanne Way, Greensboro, North Carolina 27409


 

Summary: Under the general direction of shop management, this position has primary responsibility for the transport of vehicles – primarily service cars and for the delivery of new or used vehicles to customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Load the trailers for departure preparation.

  • Operate truck and hauler safely and in accordance with all applicable laws (DOT, etc.)

  • Maintain cleanliness of the truck and trailer.

  • Check truck and trailer to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

  • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting high-value vehicles.

  • Safely secure cargo for trailer.

  • Maintain driver logs of working hours.

  • Report accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles to supervisor as soon as possible.

  • Collaborate with other drivers as part of a driving team on some trips.

  • Responsible for complying with all laws and regulations relating to operating vehicles, including applicable stickers required by federal agencies.

  • Must maintain accurate record of all hours worked through Workday timekeeping system.

  • Adherence to Core Values.

  • Other duties may be assigned, including but not limited to custodial assistance at the Dealership location.

Desired Education:

 GED

  High School Diploma

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate with teammates.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to work on short notice.

Physical Demands:

Vision (near, distance, depth), sense of touch, and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses, hearing protection. Frequently stands, walks, manually manipulates, reaches outward, lifts/carries up to 50 pounds, and pushes/pulls up to 25 pounds. Occasionally reaches above shoulder, climbs, crawls, squats or kneels, bends, lifts/carries over 50 pounds, and pushes/pulls over 50 pounds.

Environment Demands:

Ability to travel extensively in a vehicle. Works in enclosed compartment while driving. Must be able to sit in a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.

Certificates and Licenses:

  Valid Driver’s License

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills. Ability to successfully use Workday timekeeping system.

Verbal and Writing Ability: Must be able to frequently communicate effectively and timely, both verbally and in writing, with customers and staff.

Math Ability:

Basic math skills needed.
