We are looking for a R&D Project Planning Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Automotive Intelligence & Planning team.
Type of contract: Long term contract / Permanent
Place of work: Wolfsburg
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for establishing a new Project Planning development process
- Coordinate the new Project Plan within the R&D Division in Germany and Japan in collaboration with team members
- Create and structure candidate R&D themes based on company and business strategies in cooperation with team members
- Design and continuously improve planning, evaluation, and decision-making processes
- Evaluate, prioritize, and manage R&D themes including budget and resource perspectives
- Drive decision-making through structured analysis and stakeholder alignment
- Coordinate and visualize the R&D project and technology portfolio
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, business, management teams, and external companies
- Act as a key interface between technical development and management decision-making
- Provide general administrative and organizational support (e.g. meeting coordination)
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, automotive, systems engineering)
- 2 years’ pertinent experience in project planning
- Knowledge of Wire Harness is beneficial
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
- Understanding of automotive development processes
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint), basic experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus
- Fluent in English and Japanese
