Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular and non-invasive studies or treatments, including pediatric cardiovascular imaging.
- Perform M-Mode with calculations, 2-D imaging with all necessary views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis.
- Obtain and interpret information according to age-specific needs (e.g., pediatric echo or geriatric doppler exam) and anticipate physician requirements.
- Provide accurate data and data interpretation to support clinical decisions; communicate findings clearly to the care team.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, position patients appropriately, and maintain standard infection control practices.
- Document results and ensure data integrity in the electronic health record; coordinate with physicians and staff to address potential patient problems.

Requirements
- Pediatric cardiovascular imaging experience or demonstrated proficiency with pediatric exams.
- Proficiency in M-Mode, 2-D echocardiography with required views and calculations.
- Doppler echo analysis skills and ability to interpret findings.
- Ability to adapt exams to age-specific patient needs and to work within a hospital travel assignment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a SEIU-represented environment.
- Availability for day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, for a 13-week travel assignment.
