Assistant Coach, Men's and Women's Swimming (Athletics)

Assist all coaches with facilitating the academic and athletic development of every student-athlete. Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes within the guidelines of the Conference and the NCAA. Train non-travel team when not on travel status. Implement individual development plans (IDP’s). Coaching student-athletes at all practices and meets. Work cooperatively and provide positive energy as a member of the staff. Recruit qualified student-athletes. Coordinate and advance recruiting, alumni, and community relations. Perform video analysis and opponent scouting. Work closely with the compliance office to assure the program follows University, Conference and NCAA regulations. Coordinate travel and logistics management, including pre-travel booking, coordination with compliance and travel partner, food logistics, travel budget, reconcile receipts and budget. Management and oversight of team’s social media strategy to increase engagement and visibility. Oversee strategic communications coordinator to ensure timely and accurate updates are delivered externally and internally to stakeholders. Oversight of office operations. Operational and administrative support for camps and clinics. Budget accountability. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
