Recovery Support Specialist

The Recovery Support Specialist is an integral member of the behavioral health multi-disciplinary team model. The Peer/RSS has lived experience and is in recovery with mental health issues and/or substance use issues. The Peer/RSS has successfully navigated the mental health system personally or on behalf of a family member. RSS utilize these experiences to support clients assigned to the team.
