- Performs accurate cash and charge transactions in compliance with departmental procedures and provides a positive customer experience through quality service.
- Operates cash register during designated hours of operation.
- Processes cash and charge transactions according to established instructions and departmental cash control policies.
- Records and reports non-cash transactions as required.
- Verifies the security and accuracy of cash drawers and cashiering equipment.
- Expedites customer service through attentiveness and efficient use of equipment.
- Maintains a clean and organized cashier area.
- Assists customers in locating over-the-counter (OTC) products.
- Assists with pricing and stocking of merchandise.
- Provides quality service in a caring and professional manner and supports departmental teamwork, cost-effectiveness, and customer service goals.
- Assists with receiving and stocking OTC inventory orders.
What We Require:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: None.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: None required.
Life Support: Not applicable.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to operate a cash register, answer phones, and accurately provide change.
