Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

STRATEGIC
J Makers related work
Develop a complete market information deck for all India, State wise crop protection market, molecule wise shares & crop wise ,pest wise market intelligence
Work upon presentations required for J Makers visit & maintain the required market information data
Prepare the business cases for new products from J Makers
Bring more new products for comarketing from existing molecules and prepare the teams to see those products

Go to market strategy
Go to market approach - Develop dealers incentive programs & innovative tools to support sales team

OPERATIONAL
Products related
Prepare product strategy and ensure implementation through field marketing team. Hand hold field teams on concepts
Develop new products launch process
Develop new products communication with a sign off with field marketing head
Develop new products launch plans together with field marketing managers
Profitability & Pricing management for key gold category products

Product Marketing &Training Activities
Review and improvise on brand communication including key message points, USPs, regional strategies product stewardship with the support of concerned stake holders (e.g. sales teams & marketing services).
Develop and implement sales promotion campaigns for the product / product categories, in collaboration with the Field Sales team (for example, product incentives, product discounts, special offers).
Prepare Product Training Manuals with support from concerned stake holders like Product development, Field Sales, etc.
Implement revisions in the sales promotion schemes, based on the feedback from the Field sales team (for example, impact on sales, feedback from channel partners, customer feedback)

Budgeting exercise
Robust annual budget exercise ( with required support from field marketing)

Market intelligence
Track crop shifts, molecules shifts on seasonal basis
Tracking of J makers new products progress
Identification of crop wise /pestwise portfolio gaps for Mahindra Summit on annual basis
Track best practices of Indian companies who are already selling J makers products

MIS & Reporting-
Provide regular updates to the Marketing Head on key metrics including marketing expenditure (plan vs. Actual), performance of product launches & campaigns. 
Propose for Demo samples and get formal approval from ZO/HO.
Implementation of promotional budget based on HO direction and report upon the expense realization after taking approvals from the Marketing Head.

Experience

6-10 years of experience in product management in Agrochem industry.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BSc Agri/MBA agribusiness
