The Opportunity  

Join us today as a Client Insurance Specialist! HUB PR’s Client Insurance Specialist works closely with the Account Executive to ensure top-tier service. Will partner with the Client Executives, Account Executives, and the Senior Vice President to manage and service clients’ insurance needs while actively engaging with insurance companies to ensure efficient solutions. A sense of urgency, attention to detail and to be customer oriented are essential to comply with our service standards.   

A day in the life…   

As a Client Insurance Specialist in Surety and Bonds that thrives in a fast-paced environment, that is self-motivated, inquisitive, well-organized, honest, and adaptable, key responsibilities include:  

• Prepare for a fast-paced environment where you'll Handle assigned renewals efficiently and process cancellations, reinstatements, endorsements, and new bond applications. 

• Acquires understanding of existing and new clients’ insurance objectives and critically analyzes and compares insurance plans to determine suitability. Stays abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients. 

• Make appropriate recommendations to clients in response to those changes independent of manager approval.  

• Timely addressing clients’ inquiries 

• Keeping record of communications within HUB PR’s Epic program 

• Responsible for the monthly renewal process and provide policy and coverage information as changes occur upon inquiry. 

• Following up with insurance companies to ensure pending matters are successfully resolved as well as with guarantors and clients to ensure timely responses. 

• Checking issued policies for accuracy 

• Assisting the clients with petitions (including certificates of insurance and vouchers) 

• Acting as liaison between HUB PR’s internal departments and the clients to address client requests 

• Handle financing contracts and ensure proper documentation. 

• Monitor policy and contract deadlines. 

• Maintain client and contract records up to date. 

• Support on special projects 

• Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products. 

What you will need for success  

• Associate or Bachelor's degree required 

• Active P&C license  

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the insurance industry, particularly in Surety and Bonds 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish 

• Experience with EPIC software is a plus
